General InformationWhen Professor Malcom Wilcock left the University in 1980, he had been Principal of Bowland College for 13 years, 1966-1979. In recognition of the outstanding service he had given to the College, a scholarship fund was established with the objective of making funds available to Bowland students who would have difficulty achieving their full academic potential because of financial hardship. Applications for the fund must be made before the end of the Lent term. Up to £2500 may be available for awards in any year.
